Morgan County Adult Detention Centers corrections offices 2026 OC spray training Thursday! All trainees did exceptional.
OC (oleoresin capsicum) training is essential because it builds the mental resilience, physical tolerance, and legal understanding required to safely deploy pepper spray. It prepares law enforcement and corrections personnel to operate effectively through the intense physical discomfort of accidental or direct exposure.
We appreciate all the hard work and dedication our officers do every day to help protect and serve our community.

The Morgan County F.A.S.T. TEAM with the assistance of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Ozark Police Department and Green County Sheriff’s Office

Tyler J Waters 32, of Christian County was arrested on June 26, 2026, by the Ozark Police Department with the assistance of the Christian County Sheriff’s office. The Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morgan County FAST team in the investigation to locate Waters in Christian County.
Waters had outstanding warrants in Morgan County for the Class D felony of Stealing Leased Or Rented Property and the Class E Felony of Passing Bad Check. Additionally, Waters had a Probation Violation warrant out of Cole County and a misdemeanor warrant for the city of Eureka on a Failure to Appear on a traffic violation.

The Morgan County Fugitive Apprehension Security Team appreciates the assistance and cooperation of other agencies to apprehend wanted fugitives.

Congratulations to our newest Deputy Sheriff Eddie Stevenson, for graduating Central Missouri Police Academy at University of Central Missouri this evening. Stevenson has been employed by Morgan County Adult Detention Center this past year and he was selected to attend the academy on our scholarship program.

He has been attending classes since the beginning of January 2026. And we are proud to welcome him to our law enforcement family. Eddie was pinned tonight by Morgan County Deputy Sheriff Kyjuan Buckingham.
