This month is National Safety Month, and this week's theme focuses on mental health and overall well-being.
In the EMS industry, the term burnout is something we hear all too often. Long shifts, difficult calls, emotional stress, and the responsibility of caring for others can take a toll on even the strongest providers. That's why it's so important to recognize the signs of burnout and take steps to care for ourselves just as we care for our patients.
this informational flyer to provide resources, suggestions, and reminders for coping through tough times. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or simply need a reminder to prioritize yourself, know that support is available and it's okay to ask for help.
Remember:
✔️ Take care of your mental health.
✔️ Prioritize rest and recovery.
✔️ Lean on your coworkers, friends, and family.
✔️ Utilize available resources when needed.
✔️ Check in on one another.
A healthy team is a safe team. By taking care of ourselves and supporting each other, we can continue providing exceptional care to the communities we serve.
You are not alone. 💚
