Augusta County Fire-Rescue is hiring EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics for both full-time and part-time positions.

ACFR operates a tiered, high-performance EMS system serving Augusta County from 17 stations. Our providers respond to more than 19,000 emergency incidents each year and deliver advanced prehospital care including mechanical ventilation, RSI/DSI airway management, and whole blood administration.

Full-Time Opportunities
EMT: $50,092–$77,858
Advanced EMT: $55,127–$84,299
Paramedic: $59,796–$90,441
Full-time EMS providers work a combination of 24/72 and 12-hour schedules, with 911 ambulance assignments throughout Augusta County. Advanced EMT and Paramedic positions include ALS incentives, and ACFR supports continued professional growth through education, critical care, and specialty certifications.

Part-Time Opportunities
$24.08–$26.58/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Part-time personnel help fill shift vacancies on an as-needed basis and work a variety of 12- and 24-hour shifts on 911 ambulances throughout the county.
