The Verona R-VII School District is excited to welcome Shannon Spooner as our new Preschool Teacher!

Shannon brings a passion for helping young learners grow, explore, and develop a love for learning. Preschool is often a child's first school experience, and we are thrilled to have an educator who is dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest Wildcats.

At Verona, we know that strong foundations lead to future success, and we are confident that Shannon will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and families. Her enthusiasm, commitment, and care for children make her a wonderful addition to our school community.

🎉 Verona Wildcat Success Story! 🎉

The Verona R-VII School District is proud to recognize Valentin Garcia, who was selected as one of only two graduating seniors from high schools across Southwest Missouri to participate in an apprenticeship program with KCI Construction.

This incredible opportunity was earned through an extensive application and interview process, where Valentin demonstrated the work ethic, character, and determination that set him apart from other candidates. His selection is a testament to his commitment to building a successful future and taking advantage of career-ready opportunities available through our district and community partnerships.

We were honored to celebrate Valentin's achievement as he officially signed with KCI Construction, taking the next step toward a rewarding career in the construction industry. This apprenticeship will provide valuable hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and industry training as he begins his journey in the workforce.

Also pictured are Gregg Scholtens, Vice President of Operations for KCI Construction, and members of Valentin's family, whose support and encouragement have helped him reach this exciting milestone.

Congratulations, Valentin! The Verona community is proud of your accomplishments and looks forward to seeing all that you achieve in the years ahead.
