Art Club, Auto Club, Black Student Union, Chess Club, Club Green, Food Drive, DECA, Gender Sexuality Alliance, Paws for Hope, Shakespeare, E-Sports, Film Club, French Club, FFA, Girls Flag Football, Model UN, Philosophy Club, Bowling, Mountain Biking, The Asian Student Association, Muslim Student Association, Latinos Unidos even K-Pop Club! Most Clubs run opposite the lunch hour during our A+Time, so everyone can be involved. Take a look this video of Club Rush where kids get a chance for students to check them out. ⬇️⬇️

Verona DECA is hosting our second Holiday Makers Fair!

We want to invite all artists, crafters, and makers to register for a booth to sell their goods at our event.

📝✨🐾Every year our AP Language and Composition students enter the New York Times Open Letter Contest. This year, we had three students recognized including a runner up, which is a huge honor! The Times receives more than 11,000 entries from students around the world. Congratulations to our three students and a special thanks to our AP Lang Teachers Deb Breunig, Laura Hughes and Kabby Hong.

🐾VAHS Staff visited the new jewel of Madison, the $33 million dollar Center for Black Excellence during professional development days before school started. Staff came away with a strong appreciation for the Center's mission to become a hub for community networking and collaboration. They learned about cognitive redlining, the systemic underdevelopment of cognitive capacities and information processing for marginalized populations and how to overcome it. The purpose behind the Center's creation extends far beyond celebrating Black excellence, into perpetuating and lifting up emerging leaders and innovators in the community. As a school, this dovetails with our mission of eliminating barriers to inequity and promoting excellence through high expectations and quality instruction.
