Are you ready for the beach? Verona Rec lifeguards and concessions staff were trained today and are ready for you! Fireman's Park Beach opens for the season on Sunday, June 14. Come cool off and get your summer started with us.

Additional Brush Pickup Set for June 15
Public Works has set an additional brush pickup date due to the recent storm. Brush collection will begin Monday, June 15 and follow the normal brush routes. Crews will make one pass throughout the City.

• Place brush at the curb (not in the street) by 7am on June 15.
• Maximum diameter is 8 inches.
• Maximum length is 12 feet.
• Brush cut by contractors will not be collected.
• Hired contractors must dispose of the brush themselves.

At the June 8 Council meeting, Mayor Diaz proclaimed June 21, 2026 to be Make Music Day in the City of Verona to celebrate the creation of and performance of music made by everyone.

On June 21, Verona joins 18 communities across Wisconsin to celebrate Make Music Day, a global music celebration bringing all people together for a day of free, live music, and community.
