This Virginia Agriculture Week, we recognize and celebrate the people, businesses, and farms that help make Augusta County such a special place to live and work. As the second-largest agricultural county in Virginia, our more than 1,400 farms help drive our economy and are at the heart of our community.

Supervisor Carolyn Bragg, County Administrator Tim Fitzgerald, and our team recently visited Hollister Incorporated's manufacturing facility in Stuarts Draft, where we recognized the company’s 51 years of commitment to Augusta County. Since opening in 1975, Hollister has been a major employer in Augusta County, supporting the global manufacturing of ostomy care, continence care, wound care, and critical care products

Local grant funding is now available to kickstart creative campaigns for tourism-related destinations.

Marketing campaigns that promote events, festivals, and standout destinations may apply for up to $5,000. Tourism Facility Expansion projects focused on physical improvements to visitor attractions may apply for up to $10,000.
