Thank you to everyone that joined us for Agronomy Field Day last week!

We appreciate everyone who took time to come out, learn with us, and to see the research that's happening in the field. It was a great day of sharing information, connecting with our community, and showcasing what work is being done to support agriculture in Mississippi!

Come join us for the Row Crop Field Day at the North MS Research & Extension Center in Verona!

Registration starts at 8:00am on Thursday, August 20, 2026 in the NMREC Office Complex with the program beginning at 8:30am. Interact with researchers and Extension specialists with crop specific updates from around the state as we tour the research farm. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Station update: We've identified frogeye leaf spot in some of our soybean fields. Now is the time to scout your fields and monitor before making any fungicide decisions. Early detection and timing are key for protecting yield. Have you spotted any in your fields yet?
