Excited to have attended the Verona Community Center Grand Opening last week.

Collaborating with Alder Tucker Long to identify this space has been a highlight of my tenure on Council. We should expect our elected officials to make our community better for as many people as possible and this space does just that. I appreciate the strong support from Mayor Diaz and the incredible dedication and vision of City staff to bring it to life! Here are ways you can enjoy it:

I'm really proud to have supported the Community Center and look forward to Verona families having more after school childcare options.

Verona Rec is offering a new afterschool program beginning in 2026!
This program is for kids in grades K-5th and will be held at the new Verona Community Center. We'll encourage health and wellness through play and physical activity both outside and inside with a variety of activities each day.

These yard signs are available at the Verona Police Department and are great friendly reminders that driving the speed limit keeps everyone in our community safe.

It's the first day of school for the Verona Area School District! There will be an increase in officers present around our schools this week as everyone gets use to the increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

We just received this year's SLOW DOWN yard signs from Safe Communities MDC. Pick up your SLOW DOWN yard sign at the Verona Police Department during business hours (8am-8pm, Monday - Friday). They're free!
