Welcome to the Indian River County page for the Space Coast LGBTA Democratic Caucus
For now, we are part of the Space Coast LGBTA Democratic Caucus, a two-county chapter that includes Brevard and Indian River Counties in the state of Florida. We are doing this until there is enough interest to launch a separate chapter in Indian River County. This page is separate from the main caucus page, and
geared more towards Indian River County than Brevard County. Monthly meetings of the Space Coast LGBTA Democratic Caucus and are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the following location:

NOTE: With the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases, we have gone back to Zoom meetings until further notice. The Space Coast LGBTA Democratic Caucus represents the le***an, gay, bisexual, and transgender, etc. (LGBTQ+) community and its allies. The caucus advocates for and works to advance equality for LGBTQ+ individuals. We also screen candidates through a rigorous process for endorsement, and work to elect individuals to public office who will fight for our community. Who can become a member?
- All voting members must be a registered Democrat.
- Those registered as nonpartisan or independent are welcome to join as non-voting members as long as their views clearly align with those of the Democratic Party and they are either a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a strong ally.
- Registered Republicans or those registered with any other party are ineligible for membership within the caucus and are not allowed to attend our meetings unless invited as a speaker by the steering committee. Membership and Dues:
Current membership is with the Space Coast LGBTA Democratic Caucus, and dues are $10 annually. They can either be paid in person by cash or check, or via PayPal.
