Republican Women of Indian River (RWIR) RWIR - Republican Women of Indian River Republican Women of Indian River, Federated, was founded on March 28, 1950, by Mrs. Jennie Mc Naulty of Melborne and Mrs.

Lucille Trent of Vero Beach. On November 13, 2006, the organization affiliated with the National Republican Women's Network and changed the name to Republican Women of Indian River. On April 13, 2009, the organization voted to apply for charter with the Republican Party of Florida.
