The Arc of IRC supports and empowers individuals with special needs to achieve their life goals through supports and services that allow them to lead meaningful lives with dignity and independence. The Arc is more than a building or set of programs, it is a belief that people with special needs should not be defined by those limitations.

The Arc is the only organization in Indian River County with comprehensive programs that provide hope and support every day to special needs individuals and their families in our community. These efforts include advocacy, behavioral support, day training, education, employment support. recreation programs, as well as, residential programs, transportation and family support. Since 1975-The Arc has provided services to 200+ Individuals a year with special needs in IRC and their families. However, The Arc is about so much more than simply providing services~it is about HOPE! HOPE for tomorrow, HOPE for their future, HOPE for families of special needs individuals that their loved ones will be cared for when they are no longer able to do so. Last week, our staff took a moment to celebrate National Donut Day with a sweet treat! At The Arc of Indian River County, we are grateful for our dedicated team members who work every day to support and empower individuals with special needs. It was wonderful to take a break, enjoy some donuts, and recognize the incredible people who help make our mission possible. Thank you to our amazing staff for all that you do!

A heartfelt thank you to The Home Depot Foundation for its generous grant support and to the amazing team of Home Depot volunteers who spent the day at The Arc of Indian River County's West Campus! Thanks to their hard work and dedication, our landscaping received a beautiful refresh, creating a more welcoming and enjoyable environment for the individuals we serve, their families, staff, and visitors. From planting and mulching to enhancing our outdoor spaces, the team's efforts made an immediate and lasting impact. We are incredibly grateful for community partners like The Home Depot Foundation and its volunteers who help us further our mission of supporting and empowering individuals with special needs to achieve their life goals. What a wonderful evening! Thank you to everyone who joined us at Ocean Grill Vero Beach, FL in support of The Arc of Indian River County. Sharing his HealthRHYTHM program with The Arc of Indian River County ADT Program was an amazing way to spend an afternoon! Amazing things happen when community partners come together! Welcome to the neighborhood Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic - Vero Beach! The Arc of Indian River County is happy to have been able to accommodate your Adult Therapy Services program as you recover from your unexpected emergency! As of Monday, June 8, all Arc of Indian River County's ADT program at the main campus will be located in the main building on 16th Avenue. Drop offs and pick-ups will be under the portico. West Campus ADT program will remain the same.

Our ADT Program participants had an out-of-this-world experience during Camy De Mario's Creative Art Class, part of The Arc of Indian River County's Art Therapy Program! This week's class focused on the planets, inspiring participants to explore the wonders of our solar system through creativity and artistic expression. Through art, individuals had the opportunity to learn, create, and showcase their unique talents while enjoying a fun and engaging experience with friends. The Arc of Indian River County's ADT program spent the morning at Florida Rescue Ranch participating in their Animal Connections program! Participants enjoyed hands-on interactions with the animals while learning about their care and unique personalities. An art experience is part of the program adding creativity to the experience. These experiences provide opportunities for engagement, learning, and meaningful connections in a welcoming environment. Thank you to Florida Rescue Ranch for offering this wonderful program and for creating memorable experiences for the individuals we serve. We always look forward to our visits!

Individuals enjoyed painting rocks with unique designs, bright colors, and encouraging messages while spending time together and expressing their creativity.
