This year marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. As a community, we will come together to honor and remember all those who lost their lives that day, as well as the heroes who answered the call.

We are looking for someone who knows how to play the bagpipes and may be willing to participate in our September 11th remembrance ceremony.

If you know someone who may be interested, please let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated as we honor and remember those we lost.

While observing the illegal dumping debris, Jack Speight and I from DPW discovered additional dumping in the area.

Let me be very clear, If you are caught illegally dumping, you will be fined $1,000, and I will pursue any additional fines and penalties allowed by law for this offense.

Illegal dumping will not be tolerated in Vernon Township. We will investigate, and those responsible will be held accountable!!!

Thank you Jack for cleaning this up. I'm sure you had much better things to do today.

I have requested an investigation into this illegal dumping on Canistear road.

If you witnessed this incident, or if you are aware of any recent construction work where your contractor may have carted away similar debris, please contact our non-police emergency number at 973-764-6155.
