Vernon Residents: What Recreational Amenity Would YOU Like to See Built?

Pickleball courts? 🎾 Tennis courts? 🏐 Bocce courts? 🏒 Or perhaps, I personally would love to see a Roller Hockey rink in Vernon!

We have approximately $406,000 remaining from the pump track project that Vernon taxpayers have been paying debt service on for several years. Rather than letting this opportunity go unused, why not put these funds toward another recreational amenity for our community?

There is one important restriction: the funds can only be used for improvements in the pump track area. Returning the money would be difficult at this time and, based on our current estimates, would probably save the average taxpayer less than one dollar per month if we sent it back according to our CFO

Council President Higgins has agreed to add this discussion to the October 26th Township Council meeting agenda at 7pm

Now, I want to hear from YOU! What would you like to see built? Whether it's pickleball, tennis, bocce, roller hockey, or another recreational amenity, this is your opportunity to share your ideas and help shape the future of recreation in Vernon.

📢 Please attend the October 26th Council meeting and voice your opinion during public comment.

Let's hear your ideas and work together to make the most of this opportunity for Vernon residents!

Thank you

Mayor Anthony L Rossi
