The Vernon Recreation Board meets Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 7pm at the Vernon City Hall!

Registrations were OUTSTANDING!
36 kids signed up for T-BALL,
57 young men signed up for Dixie Youth Baseball
42 young ladies signed up for Dixie Softball

WOW!!! Way to go VERNON!!!!!!!! PLAY BALL!!!

The City of Vernon is now accepting bids for Baseball Recreation Director. Duties include but are not limited to: Handle everyday operation of the City of Vernon Baseball program, run the concession stands, prepare fields for play and practice, report monthly to the City Council and Recreation Board, give daily financial reports after ball games to the City Clerk, keep an up-to-date inventory, coordinate officials and keep restrooms and facilities to a respectable manner.

Deadline for submitting bids is Friday, February 4, 2015

The City of Vernon reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest bidder.
