On September 11, we remember and honor all those who lost their lives on that day in 2001, as well as the first responders, service members, and countless heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

We carry their memory forward and remain grateful for the selflessness and strength shown that day and in the days that followed.

As we remember Dolly Parton and her extraordinary commitment to children and literacy, we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue this work in our community through the Lake County Regional Office of Education Foundation .

We join communities worldwide in mourning the passing of legendary artist and philanthropist Dolly Parton. Her passion for early childhood literacy lives on in Lake County through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which currently delivers free, high-quality books every month to over 7,000 local children from birth to age 5.

The Lake County Regional Office of Education Foundation remains fully committed to carrying her gift forward so every child in our community can build a love of reading.
