“I love libraries because they give me the opportunity to serve and support our wonderful community. As an IT Systems Manager, I enjoy helping patrons with their technology needs and finding solutions that make technology easier to use. I am also passionate about implementing new technologies that improve the experience for both staff and patrons, making daily tasks more efficient and accessible. For me, working in a library is about more than technology. It is about connecting people with the resources, tools, and support they need to succeed.”

Meet Daren, our IT Systems Manager and self-proclaimed "Mr. Mischief & Banter" at Uintah County Library! Here are some fun facts:

- Daren has been at the library for 2 years now.
- His favorite authors are Stephen King and Michael Crichton.
- Some of his favorite things are formula 1 racing, soccer, and rugby.
- His food of choice is Indian curry.
- He's an avid Arsenal fan!
- His favorite library program is the Halloween walk.
- Something you might not know is that Daren was born in England. He's from a town called Biggleswade!

Be sure to say hello today!
