With the snow and improving conditions, the Uintah Fire District has decided to rescind the open burning restrictions. You still need to follow the rules laid out on our website. Remember to call Dispatch before you burn. Burn permits will still be required.

Last night at an emergency board meeting, the Uintah Fire Suppression Special Service District passed a Fire Restriction Order.
There will be no Spring Open Burning Window from April through May 2026. Even though it has been raining, the forecasted weather conditions and an extremely dry winter have necessitated these restrictions. If you have questions, you can call our office at 435-781-6755.
