Memorial Day isn’t just hotdogs and hamburgers. It’s a time of reflection and remembrance. It’s a time to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and did so so others didn’t have to. Never forget their names. Never forget their faces. 🇺🇸

Lieutenant General Sean C. Bernabe who was involved in a coverup of a soldiers death under his command while he was at fort bliss prior to his tenure at Fort Cavazos/Fort Hood. That also has similar similarities in that investigation as Dylan’s. It was also a super messy situation that went as far as getting several federal agencies involved to include the FBI. He was also handling certain things in Gentry’s investigation. A coincidence???

🚩🚩🚩 After almost two years of no contact and being blocked on all numbers and social media platforms, Gentry’s widow SheaLynn McGuire immediately reached out to his family once she learned there was more money to be had. Funny how that works out, isn’t it? 🚩🚩🚩

It’s been two years since Dylan’s passing, and he is gone but never forgotten. The Army has made it almost impossible to find answers about what really happened to Sgt. Gentry on May 1, 2023, but the family will always have hope and faith. 🙏🏻

Dylan, the memory of your smile and laugh brings tears to our eyes, but we know you’re always watching out for us from above. Rest in peace, little brother. 💙❤️🤍

They say the first year of grief is the hardest, but this isn’t getting any easier in Year 2.

Gentry’s family is continuing to search for answers after 13 months since the death of their hero. 🙏🏻 They have recently heard rumors Gentry’s widow is now claiming the two were never even together. 💔 This family refuses to let their loved one be forgotten.

Please keep sharing, keep asking questions, keep demanding answers. Cover-ups run deep in the military, and the U.S. Army needs to do better.

One year ago, Sgt. Dylan Gentry was laid to rest next to his momma. 🇺🇸 🕊️ 🙏🏻

One year later, his family is still fighting for answers about Gentry’s death. In the months leading up to his death, Gentry was contemplating a divorce from his wife, SheaLynn McGuire, and he was 14 months from his military contract expiring.

All reports into his death investigation are heavily redacted, and leave more questions than answers. Her alibi for the night of his death initially said he was NOT with her and a few weeks later, he changed his story. Why were no more questions asked? Why was this so quickly ruled a self-unaliving when there were no signs? Why have “suicide notes” still never been turned over to the family? Why were they at one point confused with Christmas cards?

What really happened to Sgt. Dylan Gentry? This family won’t stop fighting for answers and justice!

Grief is…

Grief is unexplainable. It’s rare and it’s real. It’s painful and it hurts more than anything else. Grief is tears and gravesites and memorials. Grief is nothing but memories.

But grief is also in the happy times. It’s playing water guns with little kids at those gravesites and having family dinners on death days. It’s going around the dinner table talking about the favorite times and it’s appreciating the memories you did get a chance to make.

Grief is everywhere. It’s all encompassing. It’s like a cloud hanging over everything. Sometimes that cloud is black and rainy, and other times it’s got a little bit of shine from the sun behind it. But it’s always there, nagging, remembering, hoping it’s all a bad dream.

We love you, Sgt. Dylan Gentry, and miss you every day.

💔 One year. 💔

It’s been one year since Gentry was taken from this Earth, taken from his family, taken too young. Gentry’s family continues to struggle every day with their grief and with the lack of answers into why Gentry died. And this is just the beginning. Continue to pray and share Gentry’s story as this family continues to fight.

We know you’re flying high, Sgt. Gentry! 🕊️
