Please join the Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency (FCGMA) for an Executive Committee meeting to discuss the need for a new pumping allocation system in the Oxnard and Pleasant Valley Basins. The new allocation system will replace the current Emergency Ordinance E system and will be part of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) as required by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The allocation system will affect the amount of water that well owners, including farmers, cities, water districts and companies are allowed to pump without incurring surcharges. The Executive Committee welcomes stakeholders and the public to share their comments and suggestions regarding development of the new allocation system.
