VCAS Kennel Capacity has reached 114%! 🚨 FEE-WAIVED dog & cat adoptions start July 20 - Sunday, July 23 in an effort to reduce crowding. This is a call for help from adopters, fosters, and rescues - if you've been waiting to bring home a new best friend or wondering how you can support your local animal welfare orgs, now is an amazing time to get an animal out of the shelter. 💙

Pets available for adoption, foster, or waiting to be reclaimed can be found at www.vcas.us/pets. Adoption process is outlined at www.vcas.us/adopt. 🐾

*Promotion applies to all cats and dogs over one (1) year of age and do not guarantee the adoption of a shelter pet. Our complete process will still be followed to ensure the best possible matches are made. Licensing fees may still apply.

The nutcracker is happening! ❄️

Ventura County Ballet is thrilled to announce its 22nd annual Nutcracker will be performed outdoors at the Ventura County Fairgrounds December 12th!
We've looked outside of the box to produce the ballet this year including new choreography and staging to safely bring the joy of dance to our community this holiday season.
