Many thanks to Judi Bidwick for her visit to our meeting this past week. the Auxiliary began in 1939. Judi has been in the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 28 years. Auxiliary members pay $70/year and are trained to Coast Guard Standards. Classes for anyone interested are offered onsite and also online.

Puppies!!!! We want to thank Daphne, Ellen, ( Amora's mom) , and Kelly, (Darby's mom) for the visit this week. The ladies and their pups are from Dogs, Inc. Daphne, is the South Sarasota Puppy Club Leader. She is not raising a pup this year, but is here holding Darby and showing us training with Amora. It was such a fun visit.

Thanks for all the support our Kiwanis Club and Haven South AKtion Club got yesterday at our Applebee's Fundraiser. Money raised during this event will go to grants for other non-profits.

Daphne Collier from Dogs Inc. will be our speaker on April 22 at the American Legion on Venice Ave. at 11:45 am. Daphne is the mother of Carrie Koontz who along with Julie Scarry are the faculty advisors for the K-Kids at Taylor Ranch. If you would like to learn more about Dogs Inc. please plan to attend.
