Rowing takes center stage this June! 🚣‍♀️🏆

The nation’s best youth rowers are headed back to Nathan Benderson Park for the 2026 USRowing Youth National Championships (June 11-14), the premier youth rowing event in the United States. Fresh off being recognized as SportsTravel’s "Best Amateur Sporting Event" and Florida’s "Best Awarded Event of the Year," the championship is expected to welcome more than 5,300 athletes, coaches, and participants and over 6,800 spectators for four days of world-class competition.

But the action doesn't stop there.

Immediately following Youth Nationals, South Lido Beach will again play host to the 2026 USRowing Youth Beach Sprint National Championships (June 15-17). As one of the fastest-growing disciplines in rowing and an official event at the upcoming LA28 Olympic Games, Beach Sprints will bring top athletes from across the country to Sarasota's shores for the largest youth beach sprint regatta ever held in the United States.

From championship racing on Nathan Benderson Park's world-renowned course to high-speed competition on the beach, June will showcase why Sarasota County continues to be one of the nation's premier destinations for rowing.
