Vassalboro Public Library Established 1911. A Proud Community Resource. Where you are always welcome! We also have STEAM kits and Take and Make Kits for families to take home.

The Vassalboro Public Library has an excellent selection of books for all ages and all interests, from board books to Large Print thrillers, international bestsellers to local favorites and little-known titles. We also offer a wide variety of audio and video titles, as well as internet access(including wireless) through three public desktop computers, all with word processing capability, printing, and access to online databases of thousands of journals, newspapers and reference materials. Storytimes are always on Wednesday at 10:30 and we host STEAM TIME for homeschoolers every month. Check out pages for our special programs! We encourage one and all to visit us and see for yourself what Vassalboro Public Library has to offer: print out your resume, learn something new, get help with homework, bring your kids or grandkids to Story Hour, volunteer, meet up with friends and neighbors, or just come in and say hello! You’re always welcome at the Vassalboro Public Library.

Summer reading Raffle is coming up this Saturday! August 22 at 11am. We have some great gift certificates as prizes from Bull Moose, Barnes a Noble, Flagship Cinema, Backs ice cream, and Giffords ice cream. We will have some eXtRa PrIzEs for kids (and adults) that attend.

You can turn in reading logs for more raffle tickets until the raffle begins. Even if you do not attend we will save your prize and call you on the number you provided on your sign up sheet.
