🚒 Hydrant Maintenance Notice 🚒

Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue crews will be out across the district painting fire hydrants, clearing vegetation, and performing routine maintenance to ensure hydrants remain visible and accessible during emergencies.

If you see our crews working, please use caution and give them room to work safely. Remember, keeping at least 3 feet of clearance around fire hydrants can help save valuable time when seconds matter.

Cypress Pointe Fire Rescue is currently on scene of a woods fire on Lakebay Road. Units from Cypress Pointe, along with Southern Pines 81, 23, and 31, responded to assist. The North Carolina Forest Service is also on scene helping with fire suppression efforts. Please use caution in the area and avoid unnecessary travel near the incident.
