🌿 How much land in Henrico is protected? Now you can see it for yourself!

A new interactive map from the Capital Region Land Conservancy shows conserved lands across Henrico County and the surrounding Central Virginia region. The map highlights properties owned by CRLC, conservation easements, partner projects, and other lands protected by local, state, and federal efforts.

This new tool helps residents explore where conservation is happening and how protected land supports wildlife habitat, water quality, outdoor recreation, and the natural beauty of our region.

🚨 Last Call to Support VCAP! 🌱💧

As the Virginia General Assembly begins wrapping up its session, there’s one final opportunity to show support for the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP).

VCAP was included in both the House and Senate budgets—but at different funding levels. Conference committee members are now working to reconcile those differences, and your voice can help ensure VCAP receives the full $8 million in funding.

VCAP helps homeowners install conservation practices that improve water quality, reduce runoff, and protect Virginia’s natural resources.

📢 Take a moment to show your support:
Complete the advocacy form and send a message to conference members today.
