I want to remind everyone about the breakfast tomorrow at the fire station and also clear up some possible confusion.
The breakfast in May has always benefited the firefighters.
The breakfast we host in October will benefit Project Prom just as it has for the last several years, if that is what the Project Prom committee wishes to continue.
The formation of the fire district has not changed anything with how these fundraisers are handled or who they benefit. We use this money for a variety of different things that show support to our firefighters and our community. If you would like more information on this please ask one of us while you are having breakfast with us tomorrow morning. We would be happy to visit with you and help everyone understand what their donations and tax dollars for that matter go towards.

Yesterday our fire pumps went through annual service, inspection, and testing to insure operational readiness. Thank you to Banner Fire for conducting these tests.

Going to share this again with the weather outlook for the weekend. Looks beautiful to get those outdoor chores and clean up done, but we ask everyone to exercise caution when doing any burning.
