🚨Parent and Camper reminder🚨
The first Camper Orientation is TONIGHT at 6 p.m. Attendance at one session is REQUIRED to attend camp!!

Please bring your child’s insurance card and any payment that is remaining for camp. Be sure that the parent/guardian attending with the camper is eligible to sign forms on their behalf. 

It’s almost time for 4-H Camp! 🏕️☀️
Camper Orientation will be offered on June 9 at 6:00 p.m. or June 15 at 10:00 a.m. Campers and a parent/guardian MUST attend ONE session. Please bring the camper’s insurance card and any remaining camp payment if it has not already been submitted.

🎨🖍️ THE RESULTS ARE IN 🖍️🎨

We are absolutely blown away by the talent in our community! For our 4-H Ag is Everywhere: Youth Art Contest, we received a whopping 117 entries showing all the creative ways agriculture shows up in our daily lives and neighborhoods.

Please join us in celebrating our incredibly talented winners and thanking our teachers for promoting the contest! 👏

🏆 Overall Winner: Kinsey Lewis
Kinsey’s artwork will be officially featured on the Kentucky State Fair map in Louisville 🎡

🏅High School: Max Stamper
🏅5th Grade: Brookelynn Jamison
🏅4th Grade: Olivia Singler
🏅3rd Grade: Tristan Hannah
🏅1st Grade Division: Norah Nolan

Because we had so many amazing submissions (and a few elementary divisions w/o entries), we adjusted judging by grade to keep things competitive.

To our winners and parents of winners: You can stop by the Lewis County Extension Office anytime Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick up your prizes! 🪎

Thank you to everyone who participated and showed us just how much agriculture surrounds us every day. We have some seriously bright young artists in Lewis County!

Last week, our 4-H Country Ham participants were hard at work scrubbing and cleaning their hams to get them ready to undergo the summer sweat! ☀️

High five to these kids for all their hard work keeping this Kentucky tradition alive! 🐖🙌🏻

🎨 Calling Lewis County Artists! 🖍️

Show us your creativity in this year’s Youth Art Contest: Agriculture is Everywhere! 🚜

Fill the Lewis County outline with drawings and color that show how agriculture shows up in our community.

🏆 Prizes by Age Division: 0–3, K–2, 3–6, Middle, and High School. One overall winner will also represent Lewis County in a special display at the 2026 Kentucky State Fair!

How to Enter
