A BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Starting at the intersection of the AA HWY (9) and Kinniconick Road (2524), going south to Camp Dix, then down 59 to Laurel Elementary School, including Straight Fork, Scotts Branch, and Stone Hill Road.

ALTHOUGH NO CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF VANCEBURG RECOMMENDS ALL AFFECTED WATER CUSTOMERS TO BRING ALL WATER TO A ROILING BOIL, LET IT BOIL FOR 3 MINUTES, AND LET IT COOL BEFORE USING, OR USE BOTTLED WATER. BOILED OR BOTTLED WATER SHOULD BE USED FOR DRINKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, WASHING DISHES, AND FOOD PREPARATION
