🌟 VFL IS GROWING! 🌟

We have so much to celebrate at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary! 💙💛 Our students and staff have worked incredibly hard, and the results are showing!

📈 Our School Performance Score increased from 47 to 50
📚 Reading increased from 42 to 47
➗ Math increased from 52 to 53
🌱 Our Leader in Me MRA Academic score increased from 77 to 78
🎉 And most importantly, VFL MET GROWTH IN ALL ACADEMIC AREAS!

These numbers represent so much more than scores—they represent students who persevered, teachers and staff who showed up every day with purpose, and families and community members who continued to believe in and support our school.

We are proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re not stopping here! This year, we are being INTENTIONAL about building on this momentum and reaching even higher. 💚

Thank you to Shabach AME Zion Church!

This school year, the church was blessed with the opportunity to donate school supplies and other items to Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our local students, teachers, and school community. We pray that this school year is filled with success, growth, joy, and many blessings!

Our students have been learning all about the different communities we belong to—from our homes and neighborhoods to our school community! ❤️🖤

Today, Mrs. Morris’s students worked together in groups to wrap up their learning. They did an amazing job collaborating, sharing ideas, and showing what they know! 🌟

We love seeing our students learning that they each have an important place and role within their communities. What a great example of learning through teamwork! 👏

🏔️📚 Learning in Action in 4th Grade! 📚🏔️

Our 4th-grade students in Mrs. Williams’ class were hard at work learning about the timeline and history of Yellowstone National Park! 🌲🦬

We loved seeing students use strong reading strategies as they worked. Students were tracking the text with their fingers, returning to the text to locate evidence, and using that evidence to support their responses to questions. 🔎📖

These intentional reading habits help our students become stronger, more independent readers and thinkers. Way to go, Mrs. Williams and our 4th-grade leaders! 💙
