On October 1st 2015 myself and Nick Sandifer will begin our tour of duty with the Van Police Department. As I am truly saddened by the dissolution of the Marshal's Office, I look forward to working with Chief Brown and the great officers of the Van PD.
The Van City Marshal's Office served the citizens of Van for six years and worked hard to create a reputation of community policing, as we transfer to the Van PD we will continue to put the citizen's and their needs first.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you.

Sincerely,
Melissa Davis
Van City Marshal
