K9 Rudy and the Van Police Department would like to thank The Duke and Oliver Foundation for their generosity and providing Rudy with a K9 Storm ballistic vest.

K9 Storm is the vest utilized by the US Border Patrol, Houston PD, Phoenix PD, and the United States Military. Taking advantage of the same technology used by NASA to measure internal body temperature, the K9 Storm vest is scientifically proven to not increase the dog’s working temperature vs. going without a vest. The vest is custom fit for the individual animal using 27 different measurements, allowing him complete freedom of movement while protecting him from ballistic threats.

With the uprising of sporadic violence across the country, protecting those that protect us is paramount. We are fortunate to have organizations like the Duke and Oliver Foundation to promote the safety and well being of our furry partners.
