Haven of Hope This project was made possible from grant funding by the Associated Charities Fund administered by the Van Wert County Foundation.

Haven of Hope is a community of Christians who have come together to help displaced men in Van Wert County by providing a place to stay and ongoing guidance to obtain the resources necessary to embrace the next chapter of their lives. Purpose

To engage with those who come to Haven of Hope and love them into a more independent and productive life by providing for their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs as children of God. Values
- All people are made in the image and likeness of God and thus possess an inherent dignity and worth we must respect no matter their situation.
- We believe Jesus Christ transforms lives through the sharing of the Gospel and the good works of the followers of Jesus.
- We believe homelessness may be a symptom of deeper spiritual and emotional issues.
- We value people’s safety and security as a means towards healing and recovery.
- We value Christian stewardship and are careful with the resources we have been entrusted to manage and maintain.
- We believe in continuous improvement and will consistently evaluate and improve the ministry we share with our guests.
- Jesus Christ is our light and inspiration; we will endeavor to keep the example, teachings, and spirit of Christ at the center of all we do.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances with the air quality and weather we are canceling the Box City youth overnight tonight. We will be looking to reschedule if possible so please keep your eyes and ears open for this in the future. Our #1 priority is keeping our kids healthy and safe! If you are a youth and have already raised money please reach out to Sierra Poulson 419-234-6535 and we will work out a way to get that from you and get you your “prizes” for each level. The concert is still ON at the PAC. PLEASE consider coming and supporting Haven of Hope at the concessions, buy one of our new Box City T shirts, or just donate!

We know the concert in the park was moved inside to the performing art center, at this time the Box City youth overnight is still on at Fountain park 10pm-6am. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and will post if things change. Youth grades 6-12 are still welcome to signup. Message us for more information.
