Tonight is the first night of the Walking Program. We will meet at the Van Wert High School Track, at 7:00pm. We will be walking a total of 1.7 miles. It is going to be a beautiful night, so grab a friend and go for an evening walk!

Looking for a fun way to introduce your little one to baseball or softball? Little Sluggers is the perfect start for ages 3–4!

This program is focused on:
⭐ Basic skill development
⭐ Learning fundamentals
⭐ Building confidence & teamwork
⭐ Having FUN in a positive environment

No games — just practices designed to help your child learn and grow at their own pace!

🕓 Tuesday Evening Sessions: 4PM, 5PM, or 6PM

This past weekend we hosted our annual Catfish Tournament on the Van Wert Reservoirs. We had many excellent fish caught as over 169 pounds of total fish were weighed in! This was a new record for our tournament dating back to 2019. The tournament champion for the second year in a row was, Noah Smith who had 26.9 total pounds. He also had the big fish of the day with a new tournament record of 10.5 pounds and it was 29 inches long! Second place was not far behind as, Geary & Ty Hilleary weighed in 5 fish at 24.9 pounds. In third place, Scott Beougher and his grandson reeled in 22.8 total pounds. Thank you to all who participated in this tournament! Our next tournament will be our Bass & Panfish tournament on June 6th and registration is still open. Due to the weather and rain, tonight’s Walking Program at the Park Trail scheduled for Monday, May 18 at 7:00 PM has been canceled.
The program will resume on Monday, June 1. We hope to see everyone then!

Registration is still open for our upcoming Catfish tournament on May 16th from 7pm-11pm. The deadline to register will be no later than May 15th. We do have one new addition to this years tournament! Bank Fishermen will now be permitted to enter as a team if they so choose. Little Sluggers is still open for registration! If your child is ages 3-4, this is the perfect chance to get them started with the basics of baseball/softball. This program focuses on skill development only, and there will be no games played. There will be four practices held on Tuesday evenings (June 2, 9, 16, 23).
