Pardon our dust! The Bloomingdale Regional Public Library will be closed on May 26 to begin renovations and will reopen with limited services and programs on May 27.

Holds Pickup: Curbside service only.

Returns: Use book drops (staff can assist with HotSpots/GoPros).

Community Room: Room 219 will be open for limited programs, internet, printing, copying, and scanning.

Please visit the Riverview Public Library for full service.

Our library website, HCPLC.org, is always open for you to reserve the latest best-seller, download a book, take an online class, or access library services.

We are excited to announce that 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔!

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit volunteer group dedicated to strengthening and supporting the Tampa-Hillsborough County public libraries through advocacy and fundraising.

✨ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧:
At Bloomingdale, thanks to the generosity of community members who donate books and monetary contributions to our BookEnds Bookstore, sales proceeds are used to expand and enhance library services, such as storytimes, literacy outreach, technology workshops, and special community events.

👥 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
• President – Lead the Board and represent Friends at events and library strategy discussions
• Vice President – Support the President and help coordinate Board activities
• Treasurer – Manage financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting

📅 Election Timeline: Voting will take place in March 2026.
