SoonerSafe Storm Shelter Rebate Program is accepting applications

2025 Rebate Program Launched

Registration is now OPEN for the 2025 SoonerSafe rebate cycle. This year’s rebates will prioritize residents impacted by the 2024 disaster declarations in the following counties:

The previous SoonerSafe registration portal has been phased out. As a result, status updates are no longer available in that portal for rebates beginning with the 2024 cycle.

To submit a new application for 2025, Homeowners interested in applying can visit www.soonersafe.ok.gov for the registration link, program Rules and Regulations, and frequently asked questions.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Once reviewed, applicant information will be submitted to FEMA for approval in the coming months. Please note: Rebates will not be awarded during the current storm season, but notifications are anticipated to begin in the summer of 2025.
