Due to the recent hail storm, solicitors are circulating the Village looking for homeowners who need repairs. Some may be legitimate, while others may be scams. All solicitors are required to stop by the Police Department to apply for a permit. You, the homeowner, are also allowed to come to the Village Hall to pick up a No Solicitors window decal if you'd prefer them not stop by your home. Please call the Police Department (216-524-9687) with any questions or concerns. ~ VVPD

Thank you to everyone for the surprise retirement luncheon this Friday. It was a great send-off that I will always appreciate. I also want to thank all of the Village officials past and present that have allowed me to serve over the last 37 years. During my time as an Officer, Detective, and SWAT team member, I witnessed acts of bravery and commitment to duty that would make anyone proud to serve. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to work with this special group of people, and I will always cherish the memories from our service. We had many challenging and crazy times over the years, and I want to thank everyone that had my back, especially my wife and family.
