This morning, a small group of students and staff gathered for Valley Park’s 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, which was livestreamed across the district so students and staff could pause together to remember and reflect.

The ceremony included the National Anthem performed by the Valley Park High School Choir and the playing of “Taps” by Liberty Marx ’28. Dr. David Cook, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Valley Park High School counselor, shared a meaningful message about the significance of September 11 and the importance of remembering those whose lives were lost and forever changed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s ceremony possible and provided our school community with an opportunity to remember, honor and reflect together.

We will never forget.
