๐Ÿš’ Pride in the little things.

Taking care of our station and equipment is part of taking pride in the job. A little Saturday morning work around Station 19 โ€” keeping the house clean, the trucks ready, and everything prepared for the next call.

Because this isnโ€™t just where we work. Itโ€™s our house, and weโ€™re proud to take care of it. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ September 11, 2001 โ€” We Will Never Forget.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation watched unimaginable tragedy unfold. In the midst of it, we also witnessed extraordinary courage.

Firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, and ordinary citizens ran toward danger. Many gave everything in service to people they had never met.

343 FDNY firefighters never returned home.

Today, we remember them. We remember every life lost, every family forever changed, and every responder who carried the weight of that day long after the smoke cleared.

For those of us privileged to wear the uniform today, their sacrifice remains a powerful reminder of what it means to serve: courage, duty, brotherhood, and putting others before ourselves.

May we never forget the lives lost.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call.
May we never forget the unity our nation found in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Thanks for stopping by, Michael! ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿš’

After spending some time around Station 19, Michael is officially off duty โ€” and apparently moonwalking his way out. ๐Ÿ˜‚

We had fun having him around, but all good things must come to an end.

Stay safe, take care of each other, and have a great week, Valley Park! โค๏ธ๐Ÿš’

And Michaelโ€ฆ Beat It. ๐Ÿ˜‚

08/26/2026

Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie? ๐ŸŽถ

Michaelโ€™s asking the important questions at Station 19. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿš’

But seriously โ€” if someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 911, get an AED if available, and start CPR. Push hard and fast in the center of the chest at 100โ€“120 compressions per minute. โค๏ธ

Michael may be questionable staff, but weโ€™ll give him this one. ๐Ÿ•บ

We told you Michaelโ€™s been hanging around Station 19 latelyโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿš’

Know a fan? Tag them ๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ

And a big thanks to Corey Melton for bringing Michael to Station 19! ๐Ÿ•บ Find him on Instagram -

๐Ÿš’ MEET YOUR FIREFIGHTER โ€” ALEXIS BATES! ๐Ÿš’

Say hello to Firefighter Alexis Bates! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Alexis loves serving her community, lending a helping hand, and working alongside people she considers family. โค๏ธ

And if you need Disney World adviceโ€ฆ sheโ€™s got 12 trips worth of experience. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฐโœจ

We are lucky to have Firefighter Bates!

๐ŸŽ BACK TO SCHOOL, VALLEY PARK! ๐ŸšŒ

The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and Monday morning our streets will look a little different again!

As students head back to school, weโ€™re asking everyone to help us start the year safely:

๐ŸšŒ Slow down and watch for school buses.
๐Ÿ›‘ Never pass a school bus with its stop arm extended.
๐Ÿšธ Keep an eye out for children at crosswalks, bus stops, and neighborhood streets.
๐Ÿš— Give yourself a few extra minutes Monday morning โ€” there will be more traffic and lots of excited kids on the move!

And to our students โ€” this part is for you. โค๏ธ

Whether youโ€™re walking into school for the very first time, starting a brand-new grade, or heading back to familiar halls: youโ€™ve got this.

Be curious. Be brave. Be kind. Help someone who needs a friend. And remember that you donโ€™t have to have everything figured out on the first day.

This is going to be a GREAT year, and your Valley Park firefighters are cheering you on! We believe in you! ๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ

To our teachers, staff, bus drivers and families helping make it all happen โ€” we hope you have a wonderful and safe school year, too.

Weโ€™ll see you around the neighborhood! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿš’
