We would like to advise residents to start setting their trash can(s) out Thursday evenings for Friday pick up. This ensures that your trash will be picked up. Frontier has been running a little earlier than usual, so 7am might be too late for the beginning route customers.

Also, trash MUST be placed inside the can(s). They will NOT pick up anything outside of the trash can(s).

If you had your trash set out in plenty of time and still get skipped, PLEASE call City Hall asap.

Thanks to the residents who are looking out for the City calling about possible leak on SH-317. The Public Works guys have been pumping water out of the hole due to all of the rain. We want to get it dried out so we can fill the hole in. Thanks again for keeping us informed of things you see as residents.

Dear Citizens of Valley Mills,

I am writing to bring a matter of public safety to your attention following a report concerning a pack of large dogs running together on a citizen's property located within the incorporated city limits of Valley Mills.

The presence of a pack of dogs running loose within the city limits is a violation of city ordinance, and the same regulations apply regardless of whether it is one animal or several. This situation presents a significant safety concern for all residents on many levels.

Please check to see if these are your animals, or if you happen to know the owner of any of the animals in question.

Thank you for your prompt attention and assistance to this concern and for helping to keep our community safe.

Best regards,

Michael Hamilton
Chief of Police
