As a Corrections Officer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the safety, security, and orderly operation of the Medina County Jail while serving our community with professionalism and integrity, honesty and loyalty.

Minimum Qualifications:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Valid driver's license
✔ Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation, including criminal history review
✔ 6 months work histroy
✔ Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings and hiring standards
✔ Strong work ethic, dependability, and integrity
✔ Good judgment and communication skills
✔ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
