Field day 2026 was a great success! Thank you to Mr. Mitchell for all his hard work getting everything finalized and set up. It was amazing to see all the parents supporting and enjoying the activities with their kids.

Hornet Community! Please be aware of the potential for increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic around our schools tomorrow, as students participate in two special events:

Bike to School Day: The intermediate and all elementary schools will take part, so expect to see more students traveling to and from school on bikes, scooters, skateboards, and on foot.

Senior Lawnmower Parade: Valley Center High School seniors will participate in their annual parade beginning at 6:55 a.m., which may affect traffic near 5th and Meridian and north to the high school.

We appreciate your caution and support in keeping our students safe during these activities.
