Sunnydale CW Society/Grant Township - Sunnydale, Kansas Why do we use the word "welfare" in our legal name? The monies donate to build the hall were given to the "Sunnydale Community Welfare Society."

A 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Sunnydale Community Hall Building, and providing a meeting place for the benefit of the community. The Sunnydale Community Welfare Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the 1920's Sunnydale Hall (Community Building) for the use of the community. The term was used differently than it is used in the current times.
