What an incredible day for Soroptimist International of Vallejo!

We were honored to award $75,000 in scholarships to 24 amazing graduating young women pursuing higher education and chasing their dreams. Congratulations to each of these outstanding students — your futures are bright, and our community is proud of you!

SI Vallejo is part of the Soroptimist Founder Region, and our annual conference was last weekend. One of the highlights is Friday night's Founder Region Fellowship scholarship presentation. It is always such an inspiring event!
This year, Fellowship awarded $10,000 to 8 incredible women ($80,000 total! 🤩), all of whom are in their final year(s) of their doctoral programs. Four awardees are studying at UC Berkeley, and four are studying at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Since Fellowship's inception in 1948, over 395 scholarships have been given, totaling more than $1.9 million! 😍🥳👏
