💡 Tip Tuesday: Teach Children About Trusted Adults

One of the most important safety lessons we can teach children is to identify trusted adults they can talk to when they feel scared, uncomfortable, confused, or unsafe.

Help your child name at least 3-5 trusted adults they can go to for help. These may include:
✔️ Parents or caregivers
✔️ Grandparents
✔️ Teachers
✔️ School counselors
✔️ Coaches
✔️ Family friends

Remind children that if one trusted adult isn’t available, they should keep telling trusted adults until someone listens and helps.

Open, ongoing conversations help children feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak up when they need help.

Did you know that every child who comes to the Children’s Advocacy Center gets a snack, a drink and a calming toy?

Your donations help support a safe and caring environment for all. Please donate through the link in bio or you can share granola bars, snack crackers, fruit snacks etc. to the center.

Every child deserves a safe place to share their story. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lowndes County provides a child-friendly environment where children who have experienced abuse can begin the healing process.

Thank you so much to CJB and their customers. CJB sends customer satisfaction surveys and if they are completed, the customer can choose a charity to donate $20. 41 people picked us!! We were the highest selected organization and are extremely grateful to the CJB family for this opportunity and donation.

We gave CJB staff a tour and quick presentation about our mission and services.

We would love to host you and your company and show you how we serve the children and families in South Georgia.
