Employee Spotlight - SGRC GIS Team!

Employee Spotlight:

Justin Jacobs is a Regional GIS Coordinator within the GIS Department, whose career began as an intern in 1998. Her extensive experience has led to participating in numerous impactful projects, earning the GIS Team prestigious accolades such as various NADO awards and an ESRI Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) award. Justin’s expertise is further demonstrated by her contributions to Map Galleries, both in person and online, where her maps and storymaps have been featured. As a presenter at the ESRI South East User Conference, she has shared her knowledge on developing online mapping applications and widget customizations. Additionally, she is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot and a member of the EGIS Team, offering essential GIS support during emergency operations. During her free time, Justin is committed to her community, enjoying volunteer work, spending time with her husband and family, and indulging in her passions of photography, reading, and crafting.
