One thing we’re going to do at The Max is celebrate Attendance. Why? Because when our scholars come to school every day on time it teaches them leadership skills, prepares them for the future by being responsible, and helps them learn because they aren’t missing instructional time.

This past Friday all of the scholars who had perfect attendance, no tardies or checkouts for the month of August were able to participate in our Attendance Parade. There was a total of 144 scholars participating. That’s awesome and we want to see more and more of our scholars being able to participate.

Thank you ALL of our community stakeholders from Valdosta, A City Without Limits, Valdosta State University and everyone from the community who came to support and encourage our scholars. We couldn’t have done this without you. 🎉🎉

Friday was a busy day at The Max but Ms. Graham and Ms. Godfrey’s Pre-K class were working diligently learning to count. They used gummy bears to help them and then they got to eat them when they were done. Who wouldn’t like that math lesson.

Perfect Attendance deserves a PARADE!

Today we celebrated our Wildcats who showed up EVERY DAY on time and had no early checkouts from August 3-31. 🖤💛 We are so proud of their commitment to being at school, ready to learn, and making every day count!

The Book Fair is a great way to get kids excited about reading while also helping support our school.
