We’re so lucky to have Mrs. Stander and Mrs. Burns supporting our students and staff!

They work hard to help our students build their literacy skills and become confident readers. We love seeing their creativity with our Lexia Core5 school garden challenge! Students work toward completing their Lexia levels, helping our garden grow along the way.

Our 2nd graders had a great time visiting the fire station! They had the chance to learn about what happens at the fire station, get an up-close look at the emergency vehicles, and learn more about the important work our firefighters do in our community.

There’s nothing quite like getting to see the trucks and equipment up close while learning from the people who use them!

A big thank you to our local firefighters at Valdez Fire Department for welcoming our students and making their visit such a fun learning experience!
