Dear Parents,

Parent and teacher conferences provide an opportunity for you, your child, and your child’s teacher to meet and review your child’s progress. Our goal is to meet with as many parents as possible. In order to provide opportunities for parents, we are asking that meetings be held to ten to fifteen minutes. If you are unable to attend conferences during these times, or you would like additional time to meet with all teachers, please let us know; we can contact you via email or phone to arrange for another opportunity to talk.

Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, September 17th and Friday, September 18th.
Students will be released at 11:45 on these days.

Conferences are on a drop-in basis; no appointments are scheduled. You may meet with all or some of your child’s teachers. Teachers are located for conferences in the following locations. Please begin with your student’s Advisory Base teacher to collect their progress report. Students who are with Ms. Gillian Stehr should get their progress report from Mr. Accurso.

6th Grade
6th grade teachers will be in the MPR
Mrs. Vanderford (Student Services Coordinator) will be in the MPR with 6th grade
7th and 8th Grade
7th and 8th grade teachers will be in the gymnasium
Mrs. Briggette Evans (Counselor) will be in the gymnasium with 7th and 8th grade
Specialists
PE (Mr. Gonzalez, Mrs. Mack) and STEM (Mrs. Holzwarth) will be in the STEM room
Band (Ms. Stehr ) will be in the band room
Art (Mrs. Hilton) will be in the art room
Mrs. Stehr (Honors and GAL) will be in the gymnasium
Special education:
Mrs. Haverly will be in the MPR. Mrs. Haverly will only be available on Thursday.
Mrs. Brunette will be in the gymnasium
Mrs. Savill will be in the gymnasium
Mrs. Locke will be in the gymnasium
Mr. Guzman will be in the Life Skills classroom
There will be a teacher dinner break on Thursday, September 17th from 4:00 until 5:00 with no conferences being held during this time. Thursday conferences will end promptly at 7:00.

Thursday, September 17, 2026
12:30 until 4:00 conference times.
4:00 until 5:00 Dinner hour. No conferences held.

5:00 until 7:00
Conferences end at 7:00.

Friday, September 18, 2026
12:30 until 3:00 Conferences end at 3:00.

September 2, 2026

Dear Parents,

This morning, a report was made to the Pima County Sheriff's Department regarding a family conflict. This did not involve the school and the school did not make the initial report. Patrol and School Resource Officers came to the school and resolved the situation.

At no time, was there any involvement on campus or with our students.

During this same period of time, the paramedics arrived to assess a student’s medical condition. These were isolated situations.

I just wanted to make parents aware of the reason so many first responders were in front of the school so that there were no concerns about safety. Student and staff safety will always remain our top priority. We are always grateful for our responders for their service to our school.

Returning Student Registration 26/27 is now live, and emails have been sent to parents/guardians. You will log in via the parent portal to access the registration form.

If you have forgotten your passwords, then you can reset them with the Forgot Password link on the parent portal sign-on page.

You will also receive a separate email from SNAP (PSNI) today. SNAP is the new health portal replacing Schoolcare. You will have to activate your accounts from that email, and then you will be able to log into SNAP via the parent portal.
