River Bend Farm Visitors Center is the centerpiece of the park that recalls the role of canals in transporting raw materials and manufactured goods between emerging industrial centers. Walk along restored sections of the Blackstone River Canal and Towpath from the River Bend Farm Visitors Center. Visitor Center has restrooms and is open daily from 10 am-4 pm.

Maple Sugaring Weekend
Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22, 2026

It’s that sweet time of year again! Join us on February 21 and 22 for our annual Maple Sugaring Weekend. Guided tours will be offered at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m., running for about 90 minutes.

Meet in the River Bend Farm Visitor Center. All programs are free and open to the public. Same day registration for guided tours is limited but available at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appropriate for all ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tours include outdoor elements. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Programming is subject to change or cancellation. For the most up to date programming information, call (508) 278-7604 or visit bit.ly/blstupdates.

🦇Mark your calendars for a special Night Sky Program, featuring a Bat Walk!

🦇Celebrate the beginning of Bat Week on Friday, October 24, 2025, by attending this special evening event at River Bend Farm. Explore everything the night sky has to offer and get a closer view of the stars, the moon, and our neighboring planets through a telescope. For stargazing, meet in the field across from the River Bend Farm Visitor Center.

🦇Doors will open for Bat Week crafts and activities at 6 PM.
🌠Night Sky runs from 6:30-8:00 PM.

All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Appropriate for all ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the weather.
