I want to thank all of the wonderful people that provided the support that made this win happen. I never could have made it through this yearlong campaign without the backing and unrelenting support of my amazing wife. Crystal! To my family, friends, and present and former elected officials, you were amazing with all of the support and encouragement throughout this race, and I hold that trust and faith close to my heart. To all of the people that opened their doors for a conversation about my goals for the precinct, the ones that invited me in for a cup of coffee or offered a bottle of water, the ones that appreciated the scripture on my campaign cards, those that encouraged me, helped me, called people, and those that were gracious enough to allow me to place a sign in their yard or in their fence. I had the most wonderful group that was in my corner from the beginning, and I could never move the needle as far as we did without you. To those who donated monetarily, I am so appreciative of that support, it truly made a difference in how I was able to run my campaign. I also have to thank all of the wonderful friends I made at the Civic Center during early voting, from the candidates to their family members, opposing parties or not, everyone was so polite and helpful, and I know I have made friendships that will last a lifetime. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone that came out to vote, your voice made the difference and the support I was shown will stay with me as a reminder of why I was elected to office and the duty that was placed on me to uphold what we fought for.
